Game and Simulation Programming
This course sequence offers practical experiences in game/simulation conceptualization, design, storyboarding, development methodologies, essential programming techniques, and implementation issues using Scratch and Game Maker.
Students test and analyze games to determine the quality of rules, interfaces, navigation, performance, play, artistry and longevity in design and structure.
Specialized programming skills involving advanced mathematical calculations and physics are also integrated into the curriculum.
In these courses, students will learn operating system commands and web document development, design, promotion and scripting.
Students are encouraged to work towards their industry certifications in Microsoft Office and Adobe Products.
Real World Training
Business students train in our school‐based enterprise, Signs of the Tiger. They serve as project managers of jobs, work with customers and create custom‐designed products for both public and private industry.
Students create products using industry standard software and equipment.
